How to find the best shoot locations in London? London is a city full of amazing shoot locations, from the brutalist Barbican to the Edwardian terraces. But with so many options to choose from, it can be hard to know where to start.
It's important to do your research and compare costs to find the best one for you. To help your search, we've collated our Top 5 Places to Find Shoot Locations in London (2024).

Launched in November 2020, London-based location agency Scouty has grown to over 4.500 locations in the UK, and it's easy to see why.
Scouty doesn't charge booking fees, saving creators up to 20%. Their website is incredibly user-friendly, with advanced search filters and map functionality. What really sets Scouty apart is the ability to communicate directly with the homeowner or set owner. This makes it easy to arrange everything you need, with payments made securely through the platform. Great stuff.

At Gramafilm, we love making branded content. The admin side… well, not so much. Thankfully location agency, Tutti, has helped us cut out admin work time & time again.
Using their marketplace you can automate & simplify bookings. Life saver. Plus, with over thirty - Yes, thirty! - filters to streamline your search, you can find everything from photography studios to recording studios with the click of a button. So whether it's for TikTok, YouTube, Spotify, or major film production, Tutti always seems to have a space and always saves you time. No surprise they’re now used by BBC, Channel 4, Netflix etc.

“Communication, Communication, Communication”
LC Locations is a regular go-to for Gramafilm, mainly due to the fantastic communication we receive. Oh, and did we mention their amazing range of hand-picked London locations?
It’s easy to find what you’re looking for with LC. Their keyword search is incredibly detailed (can search for e.g. red panelling), their location roster is amazing and we love that you can send them a brief, and they’ll get back to you with suggestions. It’s a slightly more expensive service, but with their locations & comms - you understand why.

Founded in 2006, Shoot Factory has been helping Gramafilm find locations to shoot for over 10 years, and we love them! They represent over 400 locations but seem to be adding new locations every week (with a great mailing list updating you as to when). Shoot Factory offers everything from quirky locations to classic commercial locations and boasts a really nice search functionality to help you find one that works for you.
They’ve become pretty popular (Adidas, Asos, Ford, Burberry, Grazia all use them) so unfortunately, we can’t gate-keep them anymore. Get booking.

Last but not least, is Kitchen Studio Hire.
When we were looking at locations to film our pro-bono project with Bees & Refugees, we reached out to a few potential options. Due to our tight budget, K.S.H kindly offered us a very generous discount, where we had aaaaalll the props and facilities we needed. The space was amazing, it had room for storing kit and even a HMU space!
If you can’t find a good kitchen from their range, it might just not exist.
Anter Luggage
Okay, you might have guessed this film wasn't shot in London. But with a location like this, we couldn't miss it off our list. The Pond House, Chichester was featured in Grand Designs and quickly became the perfect place to shoot out Antler Campaign.

A lot of commercials require multiple locations, and that's exactly what we found when shooting our Android Tablet Commercial. We needed a football pitch, a sitting-room, a kitchen and even a roller skating spot. Of course, with multiple locations it easiest to go to one location agency.
